Your readings are personal. This page explains, in plain words, what the Celestum app keeps, why, who can see it, and how to delete it.
Who we are
Celestum is an independent app. For anything about your privacy, write to support@celestum.com.co.
Who runs Celestum
Zlatko Kosar, Croatia
What we keep
- Your account: your email address and password (the password is stored scrambled, never in plain text). If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your email address and name.
- About you, if you add it: your name, and your birth date, birth time and birth place, to work out your signs and horoscope.
- Your readings: the cards, runes, cup shapes and palm lines that came up, your questions, notes, reflections and moods, and whether a reading came true. For a palm reading of someone else, the first name you give them.
- Photos you choose to add to a cup reading or a spread.
- Your moon intentions, your chosen deck and look, and which days you opened the app (used to unlock decks).
We use all of this only to run the app for you: to show your readings, journal, patterns and horoscope. We don't use it for advertising and we don't sell it.
Who can see it
- Only you. Every reading, note, mood and photo is locked to your account. Other people using Celestum can never see them.
- Supabase stores the app's data for us, as our hosting provider. They keep it on secure servers and may only use it to provide that service.
- Google, only if you choose "Sign in with Google", handles that sign-in.
- Open-Meteo: when you search for your birth place, the place name you type is sent to Open-Meteo's free place search to find where it is. Nothing else is sent with it.
- We can reach the database to keep the app working and fix problems, but we never read your readings out of curiosity, sell them, or share them.
- There are no ads and no advertising or tracking tools in Celestum.
What stays on your phone
- Your daily reminder and its time are kept only on your phone.
- The other person's birthday in a compatibility reading is only used on your phone and is not saved.
- Your photos only leave your phone when you choose to add one to a reading.
How long we keep it, and deleting
- We keep your data for as long as you have an account.
- You can delete any photo from its reading in your journal.
- You can delete your whole account in the app: Settings → Delete my account. That removes your login and every reading, note, mood, intention and photo, for good. See Delete your account for other ways.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Write to support@celestum.com.co from the email address of your account and we'll answer within 30 days. If you live in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Age
Celestum is made for adults (18 and over). It isn't meant for children, and we don't knowingly keep data about anyone under 18.
About readings
Readings and horoscopes are for reflection, guidance and entertainment. They aren't a replacement for medical, legal or financial advice. Sky positions come from NASA/JPL Horizons data.
Changes
If we change what Celestum keeps or who it shares data with, we'll update this page and the date at the top, and tell you in the app when the change is important.
